Terms of sale Hotel Charlemagne***

The general terms and conditions of sale and the special terms and conditions form an integral part of the sales contract and must be accepted in their entirety before any sale is concluded. The reservation request implies adherence to these terms and conditions of sale and full and unreserved acceptance of their provisions.

1 - General sales conditions (GSC)

1-1 - Applicability

The present terms and conditions apply to sales transactions concluded by the Hotel Charlemagne.

1-2 - Capacity

Any customer of the Hotel Charlemagne acknowledges having the capacity to contract, i.e. being of legal age and not under guardianship.

1-3 - Prices

Prices are indicated in Euros. VAT is always included. The prices indicated include only the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. Any additional services provided by the hotelier during the stay and the tourist tax will be added to the price mentioned in the reservation at the time of invoicing.

The prices applicable are those in force on the day of booking. The hotelier is free to change prices at any time. Therefore, the price displayed during a visit to the Hotel

Charlemagne website is valid only for orders taken during the period in which it is displayed. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is contractual.

1-4 - Terms of payment

Terms of payment depend on the type of reservation;

In the case of a RACK reservation (cancellable, modifiable under conditions), payment for all services is made directly to the hotel during your stay.

In the case of a NANR reservation (non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable), the hotel will deduct the cost of the room directly at the time of booking.

A deposit may be requested at the time of booking.

Anyone not registered at the time of booking may not stay in the hotel free of charge.

1-5 - Complaints

All complaints must be made to the hotelier within 30 days of the date of stay.

1-6 - Liability

The hotel's liability is unlimited in the event of theft of goods or objects when they have been entrusted to its care only.

1-7 - Data protection

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act L.78-17 of January 6, 1978, customers are hereby informed that any personal information they provide to the Hotel Charlemagne will be processed electronically, unless they expressly object.

This data processing has been declared to the CNIL.

The customer has the right to access, rectify or delete any personal data at any time.

The information requested at the time of booking is essential for the proper processing of your request. Only the hotelier concerned by the reservation request will receive this information.

1-8 - Applicable law

Any dispute, claim or litigation relating to the booking of a stay or hotel room is subject to French law.

2 - Special conditions

The following special conditions apply to all reservations made through the Hotel Charlemagne website.

2-1 - Booking conditions

In order to guarantee a reservation, customers are asked to provide their credit card number, which is transmitted by secure means.

In the case of a TARIF BAR OR PACKAGE reservation.

(Can be cancelled or modified under certain conditions), full payment for the stay must be made directly to the hotelier.

In the case of a NR reservation (non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable), the hotelier will deduct the cost of the room directly at the time of booking.

The reservation is firm and definitive only after receipt of the confirmation sent to the customer by the hotel.

The balance of the stay must be paid on site to the hotelier.

The customer is requested to inform the hotel of any late arrival.

2-2 - Changing a reservation

Only BAR OR PACKAGE reservations (cancellable, modifiable subject to conditions) may be modified. NANR reservations (Non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable) cannot be modified.

Reservation changes are not binding until the hotel has received confirmation.

Requests for changes must be made 48 hours before the date of arrival.

Requests for changes may result in the application of cancellation conditions.

2-3 - Cancellation conditions

NANR reservations (Non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable) cannot be cancelled. Only BAR OR PACKAGE reservations (Cancellable, modifiable under conditions) can be cancelled under the following conditions:

To cancel a reservation, the customer is invited to contact the hotel directly - by telephone 01 46 24 27 63, every day of the week - by e-mail at info@hotelcharlemagne.com

Cancellation is effective upon receipt of a confirmation e-mail from the hotel.

Cancellation of a reservation will result in the deposit paid at the time of booking being deducted from the hotel's website.

No fee will be charged for cancellations or modifications made 48 hours prior to arrival.

In the event of late cancellation or modification, 100% of the first night's stay will be charged. In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

2-4 - Liability

These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nanterre .

2-5 - Withdrawal

In the case of accommodation services offered by the Hotel Charlemagne, in application of the provisions of article L.121-21-8 12° of the French Consumer Code, no right of withdrawal may be exercised by the customer.

3 - Mediator :

In application of article L. 616-1, after having referred the matter to customer service and in the absence of a satisfactory response within 1 month, the customer may refer the matter to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage (Tourism and Travel Ombudsman), whose contact details and referral procedures are available on the website: www.mtv.travel
