Conditions of sale Hotel Charlemagne***

The general conditions of sale and the special conditions form an integral part of the sales contract and must be accepted in their entirety before any sale is concluded. The reservation request implies adherence to these terms and conditions of sale and full and unreserved acceptance of their provisions.

1 -Conditions générales de vente (CGV)

1-1 - Applicability

These CGV apply to sales operations concluded by the Hotel Charlemagne

1-2 - Capacity

Any customer of the Hotel Charlemagne acknowledges having the capacity to contract, i.e. having the legal majority and not being under curatorship or guardianship.

1-3 - Price

Prices are indicated in Euros. VAT is always included. The prices indicated include only the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. Additional services provided by the hotelier during the stay and the tourist tax will be added to the price mentioned in the reservation at the time of invoicing.

Applicable prices are those in effect on the day of reservation. The hotelier is free to change prices at any time. Therefore, the price displayed during a visit to the Hotel Charlemagne website is valid only for orders taken during the period in which it is displayed. Only the price indicated in the reservation confirmation is contractual.

1-4 - Methods of payment

Methods of payment depend on the type of reservation made;

If it is a RACK reservation (Cancellable, modifiable under conditions), payment for all services is made directly to the hotel during the stay.

If the reservation is NANR (Non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable), the hotel will deduct the cost of the room directly at the time of booking.

A deposit or down payment may be requested at the time of booking.

1-5 - Complaints

Any complaint must be made to the hotelier within 30 days of the date of stay.

1-6 - LiabilityThe hotel's liability is unlimited in the event of theft of goods or objects when they have been entrusted to its care only.

1-7 - Data Processing and Freedoms

In application of the law L.78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is informed that the information of a personal nature communicated to the Charlemagne hotel is the subject of a data-processing treatment, except express opposition of its share.

This data-processing treatment was the subject of a declaration with the CNIL.

The customer has constantly a right of access, of correction or suppression near the Charlemagne hotel.

The information which is requested from you at the time of the reservation is essential for the good treatment of your request. The only recipient of this information is the hotelier concerned by the reservation request.

1-8 - Applicable law

Any dispute, claim or litigation relating to the terms of reservation of a stay or hotel room are subject to French law.

2 - Special conditions

The following special conditions apply to all reservations made through the Hotel Charlemagne website.

2-1 - Reservation conditions

In order to guarantee a reservation, the customer is asked to provide his or her credit card number, which is transmitted by secure means.

If the reservation is for a TARIF BAR OR PACKAGE.

In the case of an NR reservation (non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-modifiable), the amount of the room is deducted directly at the time of reservation by the hotelier.

The reservation is firm and definitive only after receipt of the confirmation sent to the customer by the hotel.

Payment of the balance of the stay must be made on site with the hotelier.

The customer is requested to inform the hotelier in the event of late arrival.

2-2 - Modification of a reservationOnly BAR OR PACKAGE reservations (Can be cancelled, modified under conditions) can be modified. NANR reservations (Non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-modifiable) cannot be modified.

Reservation modifications are firm and definitive only after receipt of confirmation by the hotelier.

Requests for changes must be made 48 hours before the date of arrival.

Requests for changes may result in the application of cancellation conditions.

2-3 - Cancellation conditions NANR (Non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable) reservations cannot be cancelled. Only BAR OR PACKAGE reservations (Cancellable, modifiable under conditions) can be cancelled according to the following conditions:

Reservation cancellations are effective upon receipt of an e-mail from the hotel confirming the cancellation.

In case of cancellation or modification 48 hours before the arrival date, no fee will be charged.

In case of late cancellation or modification, 100% of the first night will be charged. In the event of a no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

2-4 - Responsibility

These conditions of sale are subject to French law and to the jurisdiction of the court of Nanterre, or the court of the consumer's place of residence.

2-5 - Withdrawal

In the case of accommodation services offered by the Hotel Charlemagne, in application of the provisions of article L.121-21-8 12°du code de la consommation, no right of retraction may be exercised by the customer

3 - Mediator :

In application of article L. 616-1, after referring the matter to customer service and failing a satisfactory response within 1 month, the customer may refer the matter to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage (Tourism and Travel Mediator), whose contact details and procedures are available on the website: www.mtv.travel
